I Just Wanted to Roll D20

Tue, 01 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000

The first version of this bot shipped in 2018. It had dice notation and some flavor messaging, decent at the time and better than most Discord bots. Then some things happened, I moved, left the internet for a while, and lost the source code. When I came back, I rewrote the whole thing, and this time I just kept going.

This post is what eight years of kept going looks like.

The Blog Is Live! Hello!

Thu, 20 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000

Well, this is it… The blog is officially live!

If we haven’t met, hi, I’m Cic7e. Check out my about page to learn more about me!

What’s this blog for?

Well, lots of things!

Things I learn: from Python and Go to GDScript and everything in between
Games I love: the indie scene is full of amazing people making amazing things, and I love talking about them
The stuff I’m building: a peek behind the curtain at our ongoing VR adventures

Raw information on the internet is wilting. I care about the knowledge I learn and love to share that with real people.

About Me

Mon, 01 Jan 0001 00:00:00 +0000

Hi, I’m Isaac! Online I go by Cic7e - I’m a developer who creates experiences, and I believe that’s worth cherishing and encouraging.

Who I am

I was born in Rota, Spain, grew up in the United States, and now live in Berlin, Germany. I graduated in 2023 with an IT specialist degree.

Since 2025, my loved one and I began Noyamaru to co-create VR games together; a large part of who I am and what this blog is about is sharing that journey. Here is ScorpionCard!
